The P. Karamanos Studio, was built in 1994, and is located in close proximity to the city center (20 minutes by car). The studio is fully equipped with the latest technologies for TV electronic digital systems, as well as motion picture productions. The studio also offers the latest lighting, grip, crane and camera equipment.

The P. Karamanos Studio has nine large stages, consisting of 59,500 square feet, with a height of 30 feet. There are 48,500 square feet of office space, dressing rooms, warehouses and facilities and is the largest production facility in Greece and the Balkans.

Since 1994, the Karamanos Studio has been used by production companies from Greece and abroad, including the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France.

In 2004, Martin Scorcese acted as the executive producer for the feature film, "Brides", which was directed by the Greek director, Pantelis Voulgaris. The film was filmed entirely in Greece, and its major set was at the Karamanos Studio

The size of the nine stages follows:
2 stages at approximately
4320 square feet each.
2 stages at approximately
6480 square feet each.
2 stages at approximately
9180 square feet each.
2 stages at approximately
12,960 square feet each.
1 stage at approximately
14,040 square feet.

All stages have independent air conditioning and digital lighting systems.

Equipment includes, but is not limited to:

Cameras: 35 MM Arri's, and Sony Digital 16:9 wide screen
Dollies, cranes: Pegasos, Jimmy Jib and the latest Steadicam equipment.
State of the art lighting equipment for both studio and location.
Pool with exterior cameras and lighting for underwater shooting.
The restaurant is able to serve 1,000 people daily.
